Acupuncture and Yoga come together for the ultimate stress relieving experience. This workshop is a one hour vinyasa flow class focusing on long holds and deep breathing followed by a sweet savasana coupled with acupuncture. Two needles will be placed in one ear for 30 minutes. If you have never experienced acupuncture this is a great way to begin. Mary McCaughey will be guiding this class and conducting the acupuncture session. She is a licensed Acupuncturist and certified Yoga Instructor. Aseptic and safe needle techniques will be honored to bring you peace of mind. $15 for students with a current Awakened Yoga package (note that this will count as one of your classes on your package) and $30 for students without a package. Is Your New Year’s Resolution to Help Others? Here’s the Chance —- Peer Counseling Training Begins in January The Pregnancy Resource Medical Center has a great need for Peer Counselor volunteers. Our goal is to be available for clients who work or go to school. To do this we must increase our number of volunteers. This 8 class series of peer counseling training begins on Tuesday, January 22.
