Sugar Land, TX News (August 22, 2014) - The Boy Scouts of Troop 731 outdid themselves again this year in preparing a delicious pancake breakfast for the Exchange Club of Sugar Land. A slide presentation showed some of the camping experiences the Exchange Club has helped fund in the past. Troop 731 has produced 92 Eagle Scouts since 1991, preparing youth to become responsible, participating American citizens and leaders.
The National Exchange Club is fondly known as America’s Service Club. The main goal is the prevention of child abuse. The Exchange Club of Sugar Land raises funds for Fort Bend County non-profits including Child Advocates of Fort Bend, Fort Bend County Women’s Center, Texana Center for Autistic Children, Fort Bend Council on Substance Abuse and many others. Please join them for their weekly breakfast meeting every Wednesday, 7 - 8 a.m. at Sweetwater Country Club. To find out more about and how ECSL serves the community visit www.ecsl.org.
