Fort Bend Schools Earn Balfour Honors in Yearbook Yearbook
Eight Fort Bend high schools and five middle schools earned honors for their 2012 annuals in the prestigious 2013 Balfour Publishing Yearbook Yearbook. Each year Balfour recognizes the nation’s best among colleges, high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools for their outstanding contribution to scholastic journalism in the publication.
Ridge Point High School received special honors for their yearbook’s cover and package. Dulles High School’s earned top recognition for their annual’s spine and cover. Clements and Elkins High Schools each were selected to Yearbook Yearbook for their book’s cover design.
“Balfour’s Yearbook Yearbook highlights some of the best yearbooks printed in the country each year,” Balfour representative Ryan Almon said. “It is exciting to see Fort Bend ISD so well represented in the publication yet again. It is a testament to the quality of the journalism programs across the district.”
The following schools received honorable mention recognition: Baines Middle School, Crockett Middle School, Dulles Middle School, First Colony Middle School, Fort Settlement Middle School, George Bush High School, Kempner High School, Stephen F. Austin High School, and Travis High School.
