Cadete Thiri Lwin Recognized as Cadet of the Month
William P. Clements NJROTC Unit selected Cadet Thiri Lwin as the September Cadet of the Month. Cadet Lwin is a 9th grade student, which classifies her as a Naval Science I Student. Cadet Lwin literally hit the deck running. After only a month in the unit, she has made a big impression on her instructors and the cadet corps.
She has learned all the required knowledge (chain of command, orders to the sentry, etc.), and when in uniform she emulates a recruiting poster picture. Additionally, Cadet Lwin is a member of the Unarmed Drill Team. Cadet Lwin stated that NJROTC is her favorite class. She is the daughter of Mr. Wai Lwin and Mrs. Moe Moe Nwe (mother kept maiden name). Cadet Lwin career goals are to attend college and become an engineer or geologist. Cadet Lwin will receive the Cadet of the Month Ribbon, Cadet of the Month Certificate, and a free uniform day pass.
