Foster High School Band to Perform at State Ensemble
The Foster High School Symphonic Band is one of only 16 bands selected in classes 1A - 5A to perform at the Texas State Wind Ensemble Festival, May 4. This is the first Lamar CISD band ever chosen for the honor. Jimmy Exline is the director of the Foster High School Symphonic Band. The concert will take place in Bates Hall on the Campus of The University of Texas at Austin. Admission to the concert is free, and the UIL will broadcast the concert live on the internet for those who are unable to make the trip. A time has not been set for Foster’s performance.
