Fort Bend ISD’s January 2012 Employees of the Month
Fort Bend ISD is proud to announce its January 2012 Employees of the Month. Ruth Barrett is the Professional Employee of the Month, and Sharon Hicks is the Auxiliary Employee of the Month.
Ruth Barrett, Schiff Elementary School nurse, is described as a joy to work with and the epitome of a positive attitude. She is able to calm those she communicates with and provides preventive measures regarding health concerns to staff members, as well as students. She serves on several campus committees, coordinates a “Go Green” Club and maintains the campus garden on her own time. Barrett’s diligent spirit has earned her the respect and gratitude of her colleagues at Schiff Elementary, and the recognition of the Employee of the Month Committee.
Sharon Hicks, executive assistant to the principal at Colony Meadows Elementary School, goes above and beyond her duties to make sure that every staff member and student has a successful day. She is also known for being a strong motivator and innovative task master. Her dedication and positive nature have earned her the recognition of her colleagues at Colony Meadows and the Employee of the Month Committee.
