Clements High School Sending 9 Students to 2012 TMEA All-State Choir
On Saturday, January 7th, Area Choir Auditions were held at Rockport/Fulton High School in Rockport, Texas. Fifteen talented musicians from the Clements High School Choir program qualified for this level of competition. To qualify for Area, thousands of students from across the state compete in District, Region and Pre-Area levels. The process began in September and will end at the TMEA music convention (the largest music convention in the country) in San Antonio in February.
This year’s convention will be held on February 8th through 11th. Public school music teachers including elementary, middle and high school band, choir and orchestra participate along with colleges and churches. Clements Choir is sending nine outstanding singers in the 2011 All-State Choir:
