Fort Bend County Libraries will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of George Memorial Library with a family celebration throughout the library. The Friends of the George Memorial Library organization will be honored with a special presentation at 11 a.m. in the Meeting Room for the contributions its members have made to the library throughout the past quarter of a century. Children will enjoy a variety of free activities, including a castle bounce-house that will be located just outside the building. Indoors, children will enjoy a special Puppet Show and craft activities in the Meeting Room. Claude, the Juggler – a crowd favorite during the library’s Shakespeare-by-the-Book Festival for many years – will return to entertain following the presentation in the Meeting Room, after which he will perform throughout the building.
