American-Indian Art Exhibit

In recognition of American Indian Heritage Month, Fort Bend County Libraries will present a travelling exhibit of American-Indian Art in the Bohachevsky. The exhibit includes a seven-panel display of photographs depicting American-Indian Art from various North American tribes. Discover the traditions and styles of the Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, Plains, and Mexican Indians. A center panel portrays a map with the general geographic locations of many of the tribes. Each of the other panels represents a different region in North America. Visitors may note the similarities and differences that emerged over the years in the art and culture of the different tribes. The exhibit may be viewed during regular library hours.
