Kidz Art Kamp
Join us for an enriching summer of art for kids that includes drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, jewelry making and mosaics. A complete session of fun and learning to enhance their young creative minds. This camp will enroll kids between the ages of 5 through 18 years old. Each class offered is $85 and will be for 4 days a week. We have 10 sessions and all the information on the dates and different classes are on our website brochure. Musical Theatre Camps Now Registering
Fort Bend Theater
Award winning Fort Bend Theatre is now taking registration for its spectacular, summer fun Musical Theatre Camps for children ages 5 � 14. All week-long camps will instruct in acting, singing, and dancing and will be held from 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Classes offered include Disney�s High School Musical, Aladdin, Annie, Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie, and Peter Pan, and will culminate with a costumed showcase for friends and family presented during the last class. Cost per class is only $200.00, payable with a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your child�s place, and the remainder due the first day of class. Fort Bend County Libraries' Summer Reading Program for Children
Registration will begin on May 29 and continue through July 28 at all Fort Bend County Libraries. The theme for this year's program is Sail Away with Books. Children are encouraged to read as many books as they can and will earn rewards based on the total number they read or have read to them. There is no charge for program. Call 281-341-2677. Open a Book and See the World is the theme for this year's young adult reading club which begins Tuesday, May 29th at all Fort Bend County Locations. Teens are encouraged to read as many books as they can and will earn rewards based on the total number of hours they spend reading or number of reading-related activities they complete. Ft. Bend County Museum's Children's Summer Programs
Children can step back in time and explore for themselves life in early Texas. Programs include 1860's life, archeology, frontier survival, and Victorian Life. The programs will be held from 9 a.m. until noon and from 1-4 p.m. at the Fort Bend County Museum, 500 Houston St. in Richmond.
