Summer Training for Volunteers

SIRE CenterFort Bend

Nothing else can compare with therapy on horseback. Equine-assisted activities improve physical balance and coordination, mental acuity, emotional stability and social interactions.
Therapeutic horseback riding creates a bond of success between the rider and horse. Volunteers are their own personal cheering section and assist with instruction as mentor and coach. Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help these special riders mount up and leave their limitations on the ground.  Everyone working together make the SIRE centers truly profound places of healing. SIRE volunteers must be at least 14 years old and attend orientation and training. No previous horse experience is required.

To volunteer for the 6-week 2008 Summer Session, please call Maryann at Sienna Stables at 281-778-0202.
